Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Calca – Lares Town – Lares Hot Springs – Kiswarani – Seven Waterfalls – Qoyalay

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel reception at 6:30 am, giving you time to enjoy breakfast at your hotel. We then begin our 4-day Lares Trek to Machu Picchu, driving for about one hour to Calca. Here, we explore the local market and learn about daily life in the Sacred Valley.

From Calca, we continue driving for approximately two hours to Lares Hot Springs, passing through the highest point on the road at 4,275 meters (13,891 feet). Along the way, we enjoy spectacular views of snow-capped mountains. Upon arrival, our cook prepares lunch while you have the opportunity to relax and soak in the natural hot springs.

After lunch, we drive to Kiswarani, a remote Andean village where local people still preserve traditional clothing and ancestral customs. Surrounded by impressive mountain scenery and river landscapes, Kiswarani is the starting point of our hike.

We begin hiking toward the Seven Waterfalls of Kiswarani. The trail starts gently and gradually becomes steeper as we approach the waterfalls. After taking time to admire this natural spectacle, we continue hiking to our campsite at Qoyalay, located beside Yanacocha Lake. Upon arrival, our staff sets up camp, allowing us time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
